I’m a graduate of Theatre and Film from the University of Nigeria. I’m passionate about my culture and showing it off. I am the light of the world, literally. There's never a dull moment with me. This radiance reflects in my work as I develop creative ideas to drive brand campaigns.
A fun fact about me is I can rotate both hands from front to back, and I'm a self-taught makeup artist. I'm on a journey of embracing myself, from my loud Igbo personality to being the cutest smallie ever to grace Anakle. I believe that confidence and faith in yourself make you invincible and capable of achieving great things. I also believe that if you don’t like me, you have a problem.
Ibinabo, a.k.a the sweetest teammate ever, and Moyo, my first love and all-time teammate. We were always on the same team, from the interview to in-house tasks.
"A true masterpiece is a work of heart." - Hercules, 1997
All the big brands you can think of. But at the moment, Dune. I like their products (it's chocolate!) and love that it’s Nigerian-owned.
There are problems in the industry? Just kidding. Overpromising and underdelivering. Don't bite more than you can chew.
I will call my mom and best friend and probably plan my tithe.
First things first, I’m probably the funniest person you’ll ever meet. 💁♀️When no one is watching, I love playing sad songs while reminiscing about the times men have shown me pepper, it’s well! My favorite TV series are Game of Thrones, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries and Prison Break. I've watched each at least 29 times! I dream of meeting Michael Scofield or Klaus Michaelson someday. 🤭
Now let’s get serious, I’m a microbiologist who found her way into the digital world. Aside from digital marketing, I am a crypto trader and realtor, so yeah, you can call me a multifaceted businesswoman. I'm also interested in starting a YouTube channel and exploring interior design and fashion illustration. My superpower is creativity, which drives me to approach projects from a unique perspective.
Itunu and Nono. They’re always available to help me with filming content. 🤍
Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
Google or Microsoft.
Mediocrity. If you want to do something, you might as well do it well. 🤷♀️
Honestly? I’d proceed with my japa plans after I’ve ordered a plate of rice and salad, of course. 🙂
If this were another scenario, I probably would have said I’m a work-in-progress and left it at that, but since you’re all so curious…Hi! I’m Edi, an inconsistent writer, avid reader, movie junkie, Jesus baby, and unlicensed therapist (I’ve given so much advice in this life that I’m allowed to call myself one).
My toxic trait is expecting to be great at anything right away. Aside from the heartbreak this delusion has caused me, it also piqued my interest in graphic design. I'm a first-class mass communication graduate (yeah, I had to mention "first-class" because I worked my ass off!), and a lil’ fun fact about me is that I know an absurd amount about serial killers (I’m not joking, ask my anything🔪).
Can I pick two? I mean, who makes the rules? I’m picking two. The overthinker of life, Ibinabo and my greatest disturber, Paul.
"Be yourself, everyone else is already taken." - Oscar Wilde.
Apple, for sure! I’ll tell them it’s high time we get a real pink iPhone.
Overworking creatives and underpaying them. C’mon now! brands need to do a lot better.
I’m definitely quitting whatever job I have at that moment✌🏽.
For some reason, I forget who I am every time this question comes up. I like to see Ibinabo as an overachiever, for starters. I'm largely introverted, working intentionally to be more of an ambivert. I hold my family and close friends dear to my heart.
Now for school stuff, I'm a graduate of Business Administration from the prestigious University Of Lagos *bombastic side eye* (school show me shege sha, but we meuvee). I’m currently pursuing a full-time career in digital marketing. I've tried my hands on a few career paths like interior design, real estate, and even photography, lol. Anyway, that's me in a nutshell! Toodles.
Edidiong a.ka. Barbie's Nigerian step-sister, and of course, Nono, with the warmest hugs.
What is worth doing is worth doing well.
Workplace toxicity. It’s rapidly becoming a pandemic, and not enough people have the guts to speak up because of some sort of fear.
Send 90% to my man, because that boy don too try for me, and I too love am 😂(Just kidding o! I’ll CALL MY MUM! Then immediately begin to imagine what my life will be like, now that I’m rich because I don too suffer😌)
Hi, I'm Itunu. I'm that lady who wanted to become a nurse, a doctor, and then a geologist but ended up studying agriculture. All I do now is work on campaigns, competitor analysis, media plans, and how to increase brand visibility, and I love it! As an inveterate writer, I keep a lot of journals, and due to this, I started a self-care blog.
One fun fact about me is I will scream and cry when I'm sick and have to get injected (as old as I am, imagine). When I'm not thinking of how big my nose is, you will either find me creating content for my YouTube channel, on my sewing machine, or reading a self-development book.
Hmmmm, definitely going to be Ibinabo. She has seen me on my lowest days and heard my rants when I needed someone to pour out my feelings to, and also because she was a good team member (virtual hugs).
"Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation." - Zig Zigler (how I found myself here, at Anakle).
I have three brands at the top of my list: Pinterest, Gymshark, and Frank Body.
When a brand wants things done instantly but we both know that's not possible. I mean, we’re not Usain Bolt. ( just kidding, though)
Definitely calling my brothers.
My name is Moyo, and my superpower is I have four eyes! I call myself, The-tall-girl-within because it’s not about what you see but the inside, wink wink. I’m a creative genius. I enjoy writing, cooking, baking, and sewing, and I am a bathroom singer on the side. See why I call myself a creative genius now? I am legion, for we are many!
When I am not doing all of these, I pretend to be a fashion stylist. I also enjoy reading African literature, but my favourite author is Sidney Sheldon, and I have read everything he wrote. Yes, everything! One fun fact about me, I cry when people cry, real talk! That’s not fun, yeah? Okay, okay, I enjoy reading the newspaper.
Onyedika, definitely, we just get each other and Nono, my first team member at Anakle.
"Reality is wrong, but dreams are for real" — Tupac
Fenty. I mean, it’s Rihanna, duhh.
you’re probably expecting something deep here, abi? No, just tell clients some things are actually unnecessary, for real.
Take my baby brother to Disneyland. He is the sweetest and my favourite person on earth, and just, maybe, take my sisters shopping lol if I’m in a good mood.
So, one fun fact about myself is I’m a published poet and an internationally recognised visual artist😜. Anyone that knows me knows I love the soft life. I also love trying out new places and creating content. I’m a big fan of Nollywood films. I'd rather pay to watch a Nollywood film than any other film from other industries.
Contrary to popular belief, I’m not lazy! I just don’t like stress. I actually love being productive, and that’s how I found myself applying for the Forward programme. Lastly, I love being around people that motivate me. That’s one reason I love my friends. Every single one of them does something that inspires me to want better for myself.
Definitely Moyo. We’re almost always on the same page. Great minds definitely think alike!
"I need a room full of mirrors, so I can be surrounded by winners." - Kanye West, 2014
I can’t pick one. I’d love to work with a lot of beauty and fashion brands.
One industry problem I’d love to solve is false advertising. I don’t like liars, lol.
Honestly, I’d go shopping immediately. Sorry to my family and friends🤭.
If I had a penny for every time someone told me I am an old man in a young man’s body, I would be rich. I was definitely born in the wrong generation. I don't have a Tiktok or Snapchat account. Instagram sef na once in a blue moon, so much for being GenZ.
I have a degree in Animal Production and Health from FUNAAB, but I also did radio journalism for two years before making the switch to digital marketing. If you wake me up tomorrow, I can still host radio shows in Yoruba and Pidgin. Lastly, I am very proud and unapologetic of my heritage as a Yoruba man. I will definitely be caught dead-wearing trad.
Love, Light and Amala.
It has to be Edi. She makes working with her so easy and seamless. I can send a design task to her and go to bed with both eyes closed because she will deliver promptly without me following up. Thank you, Edi.
"In this life, if you no make am, no evidence say you try your best o. You go explain taya, but no evidence." - Burna Boy, 2023
Wakanow Nigeria Limited.
"Asslicking and Eye service". You can let your work do the talking for you instead of parading yourself like a Peacock in the eyes of the bosses.
Buy Amala, Ewedu and Ogunfe. After eating, I will now buy a padlock to shut my mouth before deleting all my social media accounts.

“Humanity takes itself too seriously. If the cave-man had known how to laugh, history would have been different.”
Graduating with a first-class class degree from the university.
Versace. I chose this because the brand is a unique trendsetters and dares to be different.
False advertising.
Ruth is an expressive person even though she is an introvert. A graduate of International Relations, she has a lot of ideas that she would love to bring to reality. She enjoys talking and being able to provide solutions. She believes that the digital marketing industry is saturated with a lot of people claiming what they are not. If given the opportunity, she would advise digital marketers to specialise in one key area of digital marketing. Empathy, integrity and honesty are some of the values that drive her.
Her top three favourite books are “Think Big” by Ben Carson, “Gifted Hands” by Ben Carson and “The Temperament” by Laraine Bennett. When she is not working, she enjoys reading novels, seeing movies at the cinemas and being in her own space alone as it gives her time to reflect. She is currently doing her Master’s in Diplomacy and Strategic Studies and considering building a career in brand communications.
“You only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough.”
I have quite a few achievements that I am proud of, like being the academic director for the whole school during my undergraduate days. But if I had to pick one, it would be being able to intern at Anakle. Over 700 people applied for the internship programme and I made it to the top ten.
Nike. The brand is young, simple and they are full of innovations at every step. "Just do it" is the mantra we share.
I am passionate about creating breathtaking ideas. I believe changes start from ideas, and that is what I love doing. I also love decorating events, I am an event decorator.
Torera, as she is fondly called, is a growing visual artist who uses photography as a reference to create hyper-realistic drawing. She studied Mass Communication. If there was one problem she could solve in her industry today, it would be brand piracy. Her top 3 books are “The Alchemist” by Paul Coelho, “The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman” and “7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. She is very passionate about drawing hyper-realistic portraits and when she is not working, she is watching motivational videos and drawing tutorials on YouTube.

Catering for the welfare of the students in my hostel as a senator of the hall in Babcock University Student Association (BUSA) for 2018/2019 session.
Dangote. The brand likes exploring. I love learning new things and exploring.
Growth, peace of mind and authenticity.
Cynthia is a blogger who loves to write creative non-fiction. As a lady who cannot settle for the status quo, she is passionate about personal growth. Her disposition of gratitude and optimism help her navigate through her ambitions, which include changing the negative perception that people have of creatives.
Her favourite podcasts are “Aetherun: Dark Saga” because it is just like the short stories she writes; “Loose Talk” because it focuses on trends in the entertainment industry in Nigeria; and Joel Osteen’s podcast because they motivate her as she starts her day. Cynthia plays just as hard as she works. Don’t be surprised when you find her exploring cocktail/mocktail spots in Lagos or simply relaxing at home with friends and family.

Getting her Masters despite all the challenges that came with it. It showed her how strong she can be.
Sia, because although she hides her face, everyone knows her, can recognize her voice and can relate to her music.
Anakle exudes positive energy with smart, brilliant, fun and ambitious people all day.

Making the world a better place by making people smile.
It would be Apple. Apple is one of the coolest and most creative brands out there. Their technology is mind blowing and their way of telling stories is great.
The working conditions and team spirit of the people.
